Dick Cheney: Much to do about…
dare I say nothing? Is it our paranoia that every public official must tell us about every hiccup lest there be a coverup or conspiracy? Or is the ego of the DC press corp that inflated this issue?
IÂm just amazed that this has grown into the issue it now is.
HereÂs how I see it:
Hunters are out on a Âhunting line . One guy walks ahead of hunting line without informing fellow hunters. Guy who doesnÂt follow hunting line procedures gets shot. End of story.
While I donÂt think he HAD to tell anyone about this, Cheney should realize that when you are an elected official, your rights to privacy are pretty much over and you have to explain your every action, decision, etc. This is the same precedent for deciding libel cases is the person a Public Figure or not?
Believe me IÂm no fan of the Bush regime. But a bumper sticker joke making the rounds kinda sums this up:
ÂIÂd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Ted Kennedy.Â
When are we going to realize that BOTH parties suck and we need radical reform. Vote Libertarian and make things change.
Also, we need to make our voices heard to the mass (sometimes hysterical) media. Stop the sensationalism, the bias, the constant negative. Have the guts to end your broadcast on a higher level by showing us something good in the world. That course of action might just play in Peoria. (for marketing mavens)

The media have no clue as to what bird shot is. All they know is that: 1)it was a white guy, 2)a gun is involved, 3)someone was shot, 4)they were kept in the dark. Kind of like getting a BJ in the Oval Office and ponying up to 6 months later.
The two parties are more alike than dissimilar. With each passing election, I've voted for less of these two candidates. The last election was libertarian or nothing. Each will bring about the downfall of this Republic.
I whole heartedly agree!!!
