Living a Lie

How do you recover when you learn that something/someone you believed in was just an act, a lie, a true hypocrisy?

Are we all just actors on one big stage?

Do we live complicated shadows?

Sometimes I feel like a snail on the edge of a razor.

Splay me open...I've got nothing to hide. Too bad I can't say the same about those that betray.

Well I guess it all depends on Who lied, What the lie was and how bad the lie was

Funny how the people you think would never lie do. I've lied. Life is messy.

First of all, none of us are perfect. Having said that, adults lose that childlike quality for that exact reason. I have no answer what to do, when someone turns out to be a fraud. It depends on Who, What, Where, and Why. This usally causes us to build up our defenses a little stronger.
